NotchPromptr is made by snekmedia GmbH, Austria — the makers of Teleprompter24. The short version: your scripts are yours, Google Doc text is never stored anywhere, and the app phones home for nothing except the things you ask it to do.

What the app stores on your Mac

Your scripts and per-script settings (speed, font size, opacity, panel size), in Application Support.
Your trial start date and, after purchase, your license key.
If you sign in: your Teleprompter24 desktop token, in the macOS Keychain, plus a cached copy of your script library so you can present offline.

What is stored on Teleprompter24

Pasted script text created in the Mac app is stored in your Teleprompter24 library the same way pasted text on the web is — that's what makes your scripts appear on all your devices.
Google Doc text is never stored. Docs are fetched live from Google Drive when you present or refresh, using the connection you granted teleprompter24.com (drive.file scope — only files you picked). The text passes through; it is not saved.
Your account (Google email and name) and metadata about your scripts (titles, timestamps), as described in Teleprompter24's privacy policy.

Sign-in

The Mac app never asks for your Google password and has no Google access of its own. Signing in opens teleprompter24.com in your browser; the site hands the app a revocable desktop token. You can revoke it any time from your Teleprompter24 settings or by signing out in the app.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. To deliver and support your license we keep a record of your purchase (email address, license key, amount, date) and send the key by email via Resend.

Analytics

The Mac app contains no analytics or tracking. This website uses standard, cookie-light traffic measurement; download counts are tallied anonymously on our server.
